This award champions women demonstrating a record for continually high levels of service as the principal contractor on construction projects, ensuring the successful execution of projects in line with the expectations of the senior leadership within their companies. The nominee must have 5+ years of post-grad experience in their discipline, and they must have played a pivotal role in at least 1 top-class construction project completed, or substantially completed, in the past 18 months. They can be nominated by themselves or by a third party, but please ensure you have their permission to do so. Please note: Those in senior leadership positions should instead enter the ‘Excellence in Senior Leadership’ award.

  • Career Summary: Provide a succinct overview of their career, highlighting milestones and major achievements. Showcase their evolution as a professional in the construction industry.
  • Impact: Summarise the individual’s overall contribution to the growth and success of the organisation as a whole, quantifying where possible. This may include outstanding achievements, benefits of the work carried out to the client/company, ROI and/or challenges faced and how they were overcome.
  • Excellence: Illustrate their commitment to excellence by showcasing instances where their skills, leadership, and innovation have elevated the quality and success of construction projects.
  • Sample Project: Highlight at least one project from the past 18 months that exemplifies their capabilities, detailing their role, challenges overcome, and quantifying its success in terms of the project goals achieved and their impact on the project outcome.
  • Supporting Testimonials: Include testimonials from senior professionals connected to the nominee , e.g., a client, head of department, senior leadership figure.
