Honouring leadership and innovation by women in Ireland's construction industry

Oh listen, I'm absolutely thrilled, really delighted and honoured, slightly mortified but delighted. For me, it's about the whole team, genuinely, like every single person who works with us is contributing to the success, so this is really an award for all of them. The whole idea of see us and you can be us, we’re really would like to attract more women into the industry, so I think this is a great way to do it.

With absolute joy, we were delighted. I think it just recognises all of the hard work and it really makes us feel proud. It's really shining a light on all of the great women that are now in the sector and I think it's showing that we're here to stay.

I was totally surprised. I don't think my team were as surprised, but I was really surprised. I was in tears going up to get my award. It just promotes women in construction and how any women in our company can progress to achieve these awards. We're just totally grateful for this opportunity to have won it.

This is such a huge win, it's going to inspire other young quantitative surveyors in my company to try and be excellent in that field and to try and contribute as much as we all do as women in engineering to make sure that there is inclusivity, there is diversity and there's excellence.

With great surprise and we weren't expecting at all it's a very new company to market, so very honoured, very, very delighted with this prestigious award. It's an opportunity to put benchmarks against the best in the industry and to really see how we can improve and how we're performing, so yeah, fantastic. It really shows diversity and inclusion and what women can bring to the table.

Gratitude to receive the awards and being nominated for the two categories is more than an achievement, I would say, for being the winner, yeah. To win an award, I think it really earns and recognition and gives a self-confidence boosting, you know, the ability to perform well and throughout the career and inspiring more women in the field.
