Mentor of the Year

This award recognises the extraordinary impact that mentors have had on the personal and professional development of women in the construction industry in Ireland over the past 12 months. Each submission must focus on one mentor. Entrants can be nominated by themselves or by a third party, but please ensure you have their permission to do so. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

• Career Summary: Provide a succinct overview of the nominee's career, highlighting key milestones and professional achievements. Demonstrate how their career progression in the construction industry has informed their role as a mentor.
• Mentorship Leadership: Describe how the nominee has displayed strong leadership qualities in guiding and influencing others.
• Excellence in Mentorship: Provide specific examples of how the nominee has demonstrated excellence in mentoring, including specific examples of their mentorship approach and dedication.
• Impact on Mentees' Development: Please outline the measurable results and successes the mentees have achieved due to the mentor’s guidance, e.g., promotions, skill development, career shifts, or other measurable or qualitative outcomes.
• Supporting Testimonials: Include testimonials from mentees or colleagues which reinforce the mentor's contributions.
