Business Owner of the Year

This award recognises female business owners in the Irish construction industry who have steered their companies to new heights of achievement over the past 18 months. We are seeking entrants who not only claim excellence but can substantiate their achievements through tangible evidence. Entrants can be nominated by themselves or by a third party, but please ensure you have their permission to do so.

Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

• Nominee Introduction: Provide a brief overview of the business owner's professional background, key achievements, and distinctive qualities that distinguish them as a successful entrepreneur.
• Leadership & Vision: Highlight their unique leadership style and the overarching vision they have for the company. Emphasise how their leadership has guided the business and set a clear direction for growth and success.
• Company Growth & Achievements: Detail their instrumental role in driving the growth and notable achievements of the company. Where possible, provide quantifiable metrics to underscore the impact of their strategic decisions.
• Innovation & Adaptability: Showcase how they have fostered innovation within the organisation and demonstrated adaptability to industry changes.
• Employee Engagement & Company Culture: Discuss their contributions toward fostering a positive company culture and ensuring high levels of employee engagement.
• Community & Industry Impact: Explore the nominee's impact on the community and the broader construction industry.
