Diversity & Inclusion Champion

This award recognises the company, team, or person that has gone above and beyond to champion diversity and inclusion in Ireland’s construction industry over the past 18 months. We are seeking entrants who not only claim excellence but can substantiate their achievements through tangible evidence where possible. Entrants can be nominated by themselves or by a third party, but please ensure you have their permission to do so.

Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

• Nominee Introduction: Briefly introduce the person/team/organisation, providing an overview of their background and contributions to D&I within the industry. What makes them a champion in this field?
• Commitment: Describe the nominee's overarching commitment to promoting D&I within the industry. Showcase their initiatives, policies, or programs that demonstrate a sustained dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
• Innovative Practices: Illustrate any innovative practices or strategies they have implemented to enhance D&I which go beyond standard approaches.
• Impact & Results: Quantify and qualify the impact of their efforts, providing measurable results where possible.
• Collaboration & Partnerships: Discuss any collaborations or partnerships they have engaged in to advance D&I.
• Future Vision & Sustainability: Articulate their vision for the future in terms of D&I within the industry. Outline sustainable practices, ongoing commitments, or plans for furthering their impact and ensuring lasting positive change.
